Marilyn Morrison






Marilyn Morrison is an experienced and All Round Adjudicator.

She is qualified in R.A.D Classical, Tap with the Renowned Les Griffith Examiner for A.D.T.S (Jazz and Modern) and Examiner for I.D.T.A Contemporary/ Modern Syllabus.

Principal of her own Dancing Academy for many years, working professionally on Overseas Cruise Ships as Dancer/ Singer and choreographer, Clubs, T.V Commercials, Choreographing Children’s shows for shopping centres. Marilyn is also a Professional Roller and Ice Skater winning State Titles, Choreographing routines for competitors with much success. Marilyn has judged in every state of Australia and has been to New Zealand Four times.

Marilyn has judged Follow your Dreams competitions Australia Wide and Internationally . Judged all CSTD Competitions in Australia namely Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Marilyn is the founder and former Convenor of Swansea Dance Festival which she ran successfully for 20 Years.

Her illustrious Judging experience is over 22 years with over 200 adjudications in Australia and international.

Marilyn loves to encourage competitors for their future developments and keeps up with all the latest trends and commercial material and has a wealth of knowledge in all genres.

Marilyn has also been on the Judging panel of Music and Arts Talent Search (MO Awards) for Heats and Finals. Marilyn is a Director, Performer, Teacher, Dance Eisteddfod Convenor, Agent Producer, Consultant, Examiner and Adjudicator.

Her recent adjudications are S.A Stage Dancing Comp Adelaide, Darwin Dance Competition, Tenterfield eisteddfod NSW, City of Brisbane QLD, Menai (SYD), Ritz & Glitz (Hunter Region NSW), Follow Your Dreams Competitions (Nationwide and Internationally) Time to Shine (Australia wide), Newcastle Dance Awards, Battle of the Dancers, Sydney

She is looking forward to judging at The Menai Eisteddfod March 2021
